Date

We finally went on the much anticipated date . We had a great time . We went and saw Grown Ups--- Awesome movie. O'Charley's for lunch, and Coldstone(which I'd never been to, but definitely will go to again).

Date tomorrow

We're going on a date tomorrow. I'm so excited. Its the first time in about a year. Don't remember what it's like to go somewhere with steve with out all the kiddos.

Ok so I' supper excited me and the hubby get to go on a date Monday. We have family that is gonna watch the kiddos during the day. Being the cheapies that we are we have a gift certificate to put towards our lunch . I think we might see a movie as well. We'll see how much fun we can fit into about 6 hours.

I need to seriously take a whole day to plan out my menus and my shopping list. I'm determined to do the whole budget/coupon thing. Well I'm off to tr to make the bread i said i was gonna make a week ago.

BUDGET

so we are gonna try to start doing some major coupon clipping , making menus ,etc. I'm determined to save some money so i can get the curriculum i really want for the boys.

I'm gonna try to make more things from scratch . we'll see how well that turns out. Tomorrow I'm gonna try to make a loaf of bread. well i gotta go search the web for some budget friendly recipes.

shame on me

So I haven't been on here in what seems like forever. I was going to write a little bit the other day and then the internet went out so i couldn't. I realized after not having internet for a few days how addicted i am to it. I'm gonna try to not be so crazy about it , and actually read a book maybe.



So I'm totally excited . Me and the hubby get to go on a date in a couple of weeks. We haven't gone out in almost a year. We plan to go to lunch and then see Eclipse. For those of you who don't know i'm a huge Twilight fan. Super excited to spend some time with just Steve.



So does anyone know how to break a child from biting my poor little one has a lovely bruise where her big sister got mad and bit her. I can't believe how much girls fight.

Spanish

So I'm totally excited . I found a free site where i can teach the kiddos spanish. Gonna work it into our school day. I also found some cool virtual tours that the kids thought were pretty neat. Yay for free stuff.

So I'm fixin to embark on potty training both my girls at the same time. PLEASE PRAY FOR ME. I have a feeling I'm gonna need it. Audrey was wearing undies today and almost made it to the potty. She was mad that she had an accident. Lil Mama just wants to play with the potty chair.

school

Well I've been trying to decide what type of curriculum I'm gonna do with the boys this fall. I happened to find a box with all kinds of workbooks and teaching manuals at the recycling center. Its more for Audrey and Alex's age than Carter though. I might just use it for miss Audrey. I so wish that i could find something to get Carter more interested in school. I also apparently need to get up early and blog before the kids get up. Once their up and running I tend to forget to do things.

So I'm turning 3o tomorrow. I don't feel to much older. I think i've got alot going for me. With the exception of my sister Jamie(a way better blogger than me by the way) most people I know cant say they've been married almost 10 yrs and have 4 kids by the time they are 30. nd Unfortunantly money is tight so no birthday celebration this year. I'll live . Gonna buy myself a cake and thats about it. Gotta eat the cake (not the whole cake)quikly as me and the hubby are gonna start doing the diet thing(we shall see how long that last).

going crazy

How can someone so cute be so mean.

She got mad at her big brother and decided to hit him in the eye with a babydoll(not a soft one). Of course my oldest is a notorious whinny butt.

I don't want him hitting girls but man his sister is mean to him.

So my hubby has to work tonight :( It makes the day just drag on and on. Bright side is a can play on facebook for awhile after the kids go to bed. I do that anyway ,but i can do it without my husband making comments about my games I play. I'm a little bit addicted to Farmville and Cafe World.

horrible 3's

I swear the moment Audrey turned 3 she started acting up something fierce. I never thought such a big attitude would come in such a small package. She's always been my good child. She's been so bad her daddy has had to get on too her as well( that makes her even more mad).

The boys didn't get an attitude until here recently . Apparently Audrey is starting early. Thankfully Lil Mama is still a sweety.

So wishing I could go out on date with my hubby. I've found the more kids ya have the slimmer your chances of finding a babysitter. I really miss having my sister around. She is the only one my kids listened to and that i trusted to take care of them. Jenny if your reading this thats not the only reason i miss having you around. I miss having someone to talk to close by. As much as i love facebook its nice to talk face to face sometimes.

I think this might be the longest I've written since i started blogging. I'm not the greatest when it comes to putting my thoughts down on paper or on the computer.

I've stayed pretty busy rearanging things today. When ya live in one room ya have to mix things up or it gets boring. If you haven't noticed i like to use ya ALOT.

So we decided to just stay in Bloomington. We also decided to just stay in the hotel. Steve will be going to a music production school in Ohio as soon as we get our tax return next year. So we figured why sign a lease we might have to break. We've lived here this long might as well tough it out a while longer.

Audrey

So miss Audrey had her yearly checkup with the cardiologist from Riley. He said everything seems ok. She still has a slight murmer(not sure the spelling), but its something she can live with without any problems. they want to do one more test. If it comes back ok no more cardiologist followups. I'm a very happy momma.

reading blogs

I love reading other peoples blogs. It's nice to know other peoples lives are just as crazy as mine. I've also found some really good homeschooling links.


Still trying to decide between living in Bloomington and Columbus. Finding a place in either town is driving me crazy. Thats what we get for having bad credit.

confused

So Steve didn't get the job he applied for in columbus. So now we're trying to decide whether or not to move or just stay here in Bloomington. We have a history of car problems. If we move to columbus they dont have a great transit system like bloomingston does. Steve is wanting to go to school next year , so we are tempted to just stay here at the hotel instead of looking for a place here in Bloomington.

sundaymeetings

I truly hate when my hubby has meetings on Sundays. Messes up the mornings . We usually can't attend church on the Sundays he has meetings. It doesn't help that Lil Mama(Camryn) woke up in the middle of the night , and didn't go back to sleep for a long time.

So later we are gonna go to SAMS CLUB . My kiddos love it. This weekend they happen to be doing a taste of Sams so all kinds of yummy samples. Guess i don't have to cook lunch today.

I've gotta sit down tonight and plan out school lessons for the rest of the week. Carter is slacking in math so I think he's doing strickly math this week. Alex will do whatever is put in front of him. He makes teaching easy.


Well all the kiddos are up so time to get going.

So I find myself slacking on the blogging. I hope to get better. Hubby applied for a supervisor position at the new store that Best Buy is opening. We are really praying that he gets it. So I plan on blogging about more serious things as well.

We currently have been visiting different denominations of churches. For those of you who don't know i was raised Southern Baptist. So if anyone i went to church with is reading this you might want to stop now.

We have been attending Mass at a local Catholic Church. I've never felt more at home . I have a feeling i'll lose some Facebook friends over this admission that I'm considering becoming Catholic, possibly some family as well. The more i study the catholic faith the more i feel like that is where God is leading us. so more about this later.

I 'm feeling really happy at how school is going with the kids. Especially Alex I love that he is doing woderfully. Educational video games are pretty awesome to. Audrey is learning to count were only to 5 right now. I think i might really start working with her come fall.

nothing really interesting to talk about today. Maybe tomorrow will be more productive.

columbus

So we went to Columbus to check things out. I'm amazed how much things have changed in just a few years. Hopefully if he can get a job at the new Best Buy we'll move there in a couple of months.

So I always looked forward to having a little girly girl. Unfortanantly no one told Audrey that. While she likes her dolls she's just as happy playing with big brothers G. I. Joes. As i was talking to her today she informed me that she enjoys eating boogers and that they taste good(( gag)). Oh the things she has learned from her brothers. Well hopefully Cami might a little more girly.

crazyness

Let me start out by saying I LOVE MY KIDDOS. That being said I have those days when i wonder why wonderI had 4. Also woinder sometimes why i chose to homeschool. If anyone has some good ideas for being organized I sure could use them. I know if i could get organized things might be a little calmer around here.

So my 16 month old loves to holler /squeal(did i mention i'm a horrible speller no clue if thats how you spell that) CONSTANTLY. At first it was cute now very ANNOYING. I have no clue how to break her from doing it. Any ideas would be appreciated.

new things

So i'm gonna start this blogging thing. If i manage to keep up with it I'll be amazed. So a few things about me. I will be 30 on June 1st. I have been married going on 10 years so a great guy. We have 4 kiddos Carter 7, Alex 6, Audrey 3, and Camryn is 16months. I homeschool Carter and Alex. Our life right now is kinda crazy. We have been living in a hotel since September. It makes things crazy, but we manage. Hopefully we will be moving in June. hopefully. So this is gonna be my blog about the craziness of my life.
